Today I've got a reading for the collective. A collective tarot reading is something you check out to see what’s up, and take a little bit of inspiration from it if it makes sense to do so. And if it doesn’t, you move on with your day and look forward to seeing what another days message may be. Today's Tarot card for the collective is Queen of Cups.

The Cup suit in tarot is connected to water, which is all about rebirth, emotion, and intuition. The Queen of Cups is a very intuitive figure with a loving, mothering feel about her. She's a strong supporter who follows her heart, and she can also represent psychic abilities, too. You are called to embody her 'nurturing mother' energy when you see her in a Tarot reading. To lend a helping hand to others by listening with your heart, being empathetic, and deeply caring for them. She's encouraging you to be empathic and to sense the needs of others by tuning in to your intuition. Remember to hold space for others to express their feelings and be their truest, most authentic self, but don't take on other people's energy or emotional issues and know where to draw the line.

Others may come to you to confide their personal issues regarding relationships, emotions and feelings. They trust you and know that you will always provide the best solution. You notice what others are going through and can help them in making sense of it. You could be a healer, therapist, or intuitive coach, or simply a good friend. You 'feel' your way into your creative projects and endeavors. You recognize when something is 'off,' and you pay attention to it, even if it defies logic. You may be in tune with the moon's and nature's cycles, and you use them to achieve your goals and live your aspirations. Trust your intuition and pay attention to your emotions and feelings. Lead with your heart, not your head. Be open to the messages that come to you through dreams, meditation, or visualization. And 'feel the feels,' even if they're tricky or challenging. You are stronger than you know. Accompanied with the Queen of Cups, the Oracle card of today is the Turtle.

The turtle is a symbol of ancient wisdom, and is a helpful totem to meditate on when you wish for a long life of health for yourself and others. Additionally, the turtle spirit is a useful symbol to consider while building anything that will last the test of time. This could be a new business venture, a creative project, or a friendship or partnership. After all, turtles are built to last. The turtle spirit is a wise teacher who encourages you to stick to your path once you've decided what you want to achieve, even if it appears slow. Of course, it’s essential to be crystal clear about your objectives first. If you're unsure about your direction, it's likely that you only need more knowledge. Studying, exploring, meditating, and reflecting are all good things to do. This process is also part of your journey.

The turtle spirit also embodies perseverance. In a world that can be negative, harsh, and cruel at times, the turtle reminds you to put on your shell of resistance and keep moving forward. Turtles are the ultimate symbols of protection, with their hardened shells. Native American mothers used turtle medicine to protect their newborn babies, including holding sacred medicines in turtle shells. When you're in a position when you need protection, call on the turtle spirit. It could be a discussion, a conflict, or simply a new experience that pushes you beyond your comfort zone. You have a tough shell of willpower and resolve that’s stronger than you realize.
If you or someone you love is sick, think about the turtle's strength, perseverance, and ability to heal. It goes without saying that you should always seek assistance from your Higher Power and Angels.

The turtle spirit animal encourages you to broaden your horizons. There is so much more going on than we experience in our day-to-day conscious states. The turtle spirit animal teaches you that you have the ability to change any aspect of your life, including your ideas, within yourself. When the turtle is your spirit animal, you are blessed with an ancient understanding of the world. According to Native American traditions, you don’t necessarily choose your spirit animals. Instead, they choose you. Your spirit animal might come to you in a vision quest or through prayer or meditation, or in another powerful way that impacts your human experience on Earth.
